About me. Why this blog?
Hi. My name is Tod
Mell and I am ridiculously proud of my family.
Well, you probably already guessed that about me if you found this blog. Anyway, I am the father of
two extraordinary boys and the husband to a beautiful and loving wife. All
of us share similar morals and values and try to follow life’s "Golden
Rule." Together, as a family, we are
building and living a pretty amazing life.
Our family has experienced many adventures together, such as climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower in France, feeding monkeys in Central America, exploring ruins in Mexico, surfing
Waikiki in Hawaii and taking journeys across the United States in a 34ft RV! Not too long ago, we were selected to star in a TV commercial
and on billboards about family values. It was the ultimate family
compliment!
It is important to each of us to be kind and helpful to others. We are always striving to find new ways that we can add value to our world. Sometimes this includes volunteering at places like nursing homes and food banks or simply donating time at a charity event.

I thank God each day for
what we have and who we are as a family. I’d like to say we are just
lucky, but honestly, there really isn't much luck involved. I feel that it is the hard
work, creativity and the moral compass that we live by that really defines our
lives.
The intention of this blog is not to sell my beliefs around family in any way. In fact, I believe that every family is unique and must develop their own definition and formula for success. I am just excited to share in this blog some tips and thinking that has worked for our us. Feel free to comment and send some ideas back.
